CIS Sports Day | Campus Sports Meet: Break Through Your Limits, and Let Collective Glory Blossom

On November 20 and 21, CIS hosted an energetic and spirited Sports Day. Over two exciting days of competition, students showcased the true meaning of sportsmanship and teamwork through their dedication and effort.

The kindergarten sports activities were full of laughter and innocence, with every little step reflecting the children’s courage and determination to take on challenges.

In the 25-meter sprint, each young athlete gave their all, taking brave steps and dashing toward the finish line.

In the relay race, the children gripped the baton tightly and ran with all their might, showcasing the power of teamwork. Each handoff perfectly embodied the spirit of collaboration.

Activities such as beanbag tossing, basketball shooting, and soccer kicking not only strengthened the children’s physical abilities but also fostered coordination and teamwork. Little athletes dashed across the field, filling the arena with laughter and applause. Through sports, they grew physically while learning trust and sharing through collaboration.

Elementary school students showcased their energy and determination on the field, bravely pushing themselves to excel in each event.

Students in Grades 1–3 demonstrated their speed and energy in the 50-meter sprint, while the 150-meter run and the javelin throw tested their endurance and technique. Every burst of speed and every throw reflected the resilience and courage they showed in challenging themselves.

Students in Grades 4–6 showcased greater athletic skills and perseverance in events such as the tug-of-war and the 200-meter run. Every coordinated effort and every sprint was a challenge to their own limits. In particular, during the 200-meter race, the athletes pushed themselves to accelerate and break through their boundaries, demonstrating remarkable determination and the spirit of striving.

The secondary school Sports Day was not just a test of speed and strength, but also a showcase of House spirit and teamwork. From the 100-meter and 200-meter sprints to the relay races, athletes gave their all on the track, demonstrating perseverance and collaboration with every step.

In addition to the sprints and relay races, the javelin event showcased students’ impressive strength and technique. From the run-up and power build-up to the final throw, every movement required focus and coordination. Each arc traced by the javelin in the air reflected the athletes’ determination to push their limits and challenge themselves.

In the tug-of-war, the power of teamwork was on full display. Each participant gave their all, coordinating with teammates and fighting for collective honor, showcasing unparalleled unity and spirit.

The highlight of the day, the Dragon Ball event, featured fierce competition between the Houses. Each match was filled with excitement and challenge, testing not only the athletes’ skills but also showcasing the close teamwork and collaborative spirit within each team.

After two days of exciting competitions, the school held the Sports Day Award Ceremony, presenting medals to the top-performing teams and recognizing their hard work and outstanding achievements.

Amid the intense competition among all Houses, Bear House stood out and claimed the overall championship. Their unity and remarkable determination throughout the events earned enthusiastic applause from the entire school.

The award ceremony concluded in an atmosphere filled with excitement and joy, bringing the sports day to a shining and memorable close.

The CIS Sports Day was not just a competition of athletic events, but a profound display of sportsmanship and teamwork. Every act of cooperation and perseverance on the field reflected the power of teams and the core values of athletic spirit.

Here, we witnessed students’ unwavering determination as they faced challenges head-on and gave their all. Success was not only at the finish line, but in every effort and attempt along the way. The process of striving itself truly embodies the spirit of CIS athletics.
